 Do you get a little bit bored on a several day tour that takes you over the same road for the return trip? Our 5 day Oregon trip has the perfect solution; we eliminate retracing our roads, and when the trip is over, you'll realize we've made a 5 day circle!
Briefly, our tour takes us north from the Santa Rosa area, through the coast ranges of California. We'll make great discoveries on the way. Our excursion will include a hosted luncheon at the famous Benbow Inn, a drive (with picture stops) through the Avenue of the Giants, time to explore Ferndale, a hosted breakfast at an old loggers' chowhouse, a special tour through an unusual "antique" mill, and a ride to remember (with picture stops) along the coast of northern California and Oregon. When we reach the mouth of the famous Rogue River of Oregon, we'll be treated to an exciting (and safe) jet boat ride that takes us to Agness, Oregon. We'll enjoy a hosted barbeque luncheon along the river bank before returning to Gold Beach, Oregon.
At Bandon by the sea, we'll view the cranberry bogs and then check out a cranberry candy factory, an Oregon cheese factory, and one of Oregon's well-known light houses before turning to the east through the lush green mountains along the Oregon coast. Before the sun sets, we'll have ample time for some more exploring in the 1850's historic town of Jacksonville, Oregon, one of america's first national historic landmark sites. A hosted farewell dinner will be set before us by the staff of our last abode for this trip (in Ashland, Oregon). Our tour will take us south, over the mightly Siskiyou Mountains, and we'll see majestic views of Mount Shasta, and the Castle Crags of northern California. As we return to our starting point we'll make one last tour of the interior of the great Shasta Dam of the California Central Valley Water Project, and enjoy riding in total comfort through the "bread basket" of America: the massive California central valley.

Our travel is at a leisurely pace, and, of course, we do have breaks in
consideration of "smokers" since our motorcoaches are "non-smoking". Our
overnight accomodations are first class, and when possible, we use the
facilities offered by the Red Lion Inns, Windmill Inns, and Best Westerns.
All admissions and meals shown are taken care of. Luggage is handled.
Gratuities for the luggage cartage, the included meals, and the driver
